Library Square is a small pocket in Sherman Oaks located just north of Ventura Blvd, south of the 101, between Sylmar and Hazeltine Avenue. This eight block neighborhood offers mostly single family homes with multi-family dwellings along Hazeltine and Moorpark.

Library Square was developed around the 1940's and includes about 300 homes. Here you can find small ranch style homes as well as large estates that range from Mediterranean to Modern.

Library Square is part of the LA Unified School District including the Sherman Oaks Elementary School, Van Nuys Middle School and Van Nuys Senior High.
